I don’t have time for that!
That’s a good thing. It’s so much better than I’m too busy!
Being too busy is negative mind-state. It implies you’re a victim of circumstances beyond control.
However it doesn’t require much effort to find people getting the things done that the busy person cannot.
Not having time may sound similar, but it’s not. In fact it’s quite different.
The person who says I don’t have the time. . .is doing so of their own volition. It’s a statement of free-will and prioritization.
Not making time for something is a choice. It’s stating I could do that, but I’m opting to do this instead.
In summation, don’t be negative and fall into the trap of being too busy. Feel confident and affirmed when you turn down something you will not benefit from or are’nt interested in.
It’s your choice! You can decide what you have time for and what you don’t, not a clock or any other asinine external restriction.
It would certainly be nice if there was enough time in the day to do everything, but that just isn’t reality.
We each only have a finite amount of time, energy, and attention to go around. Why not direct your investment in lieu of reacting and apologizing for it later?
